Belly Dance Party Packages
Mini Shimmy & Shake – Workshop Party Package
Learn some moves, how to put them together and then perform for each other. Hip scarves provided for guests to wear during the lesson.
Rate: $80/hr (includes HST) Travel * Studio Rental **
Shimmy, Shake & Dance – Performance & Workshop Party Package
Full costume performance (approximately one-two songs) starts the party. Hip scarves are then passed out and guests are taught some moves, how to put them together and then perform for each other.
Rate: $200 (for 1st hour – $25/hour after 1st hour) (includes HST)

Shimmering Soloist – Performance Party Package
Enjoy a sensual, sassy and fun dance performance from a professional dancer. Middle eastern (classical or pop), fusion or north american music choice is available to help personalize the party. Depending on venue props such as veil, zills, cane and/or another dance prop may be used. The dancer will always encourage and welcome guests to dance with her during her show.
Rate: $175 for 10-15 minutes (includes HST) Travel *
Dynamic Duet – Performance Party Package
Enjoy a sensual, playful and fun dance performance from two professional dancers. Middle eastern (classical or pop), fusion or north american music choice is available to help personalize the party. Depending on venue props such as veil, zills, cane and/or another dance prop may be used. The dancers not only interact with each other but will encourage guests to join them in dance near the end of their show.
Rate: $325 for 15-20 minutes (includes HST) Travel *
Encore Please – Performance Party Package
Multiple shows in an evening are available for Shimmering Soloist or Dynamic Duet Performance Party Packages.
Rate: please inquire with dance for discounted rates (prices quoted will include the HST)
Travel * – Travel Cost: $10/hr + $0.15/km (Travel expense will change depending on distance from downtown Ottawa. Travel will be quoted accurately when an event is booked based on Google map formula)
** Studio Rental: $40/hr when available (applies to workshop packages only)
Requirements when Booking
After a performance package has been chosen and dancer(s) availability is checked, the following requirements must be met:
- 20% non-refundable deposit (via email Interac, Paypal, Cash or Cheque) and date confirmation will confirm booking
- Location and directions to venue chosen for performance (via email)
- “Day of” contact information (e.g. cell phone or location phone number for cases of emergency or for surprise events)
Requirements on day of the Performance
- A room to freshen up and/or change in if required (please discuss at time of booking)
- A working sound system/cd player (please let the dancer know if you have a compatible iPod system or cd player) Note: an extra fee of $20 will be applied if the dance must supply a portable sound system.
- A safe floor space free of glass, wires, etc. for the dancer(s) to perform upon.
- Payment in full day of show preferable before the performance. (Cash or Cheque)
Important Note: The booking includes the date and time of the event. If the dancer(s) is asked to wait more than 30 minutes past the agreed upon start time a $60/hour late fee will apply, to be paid at the event.
